Standard Dose is a plant-based wellness marketplace that is dedicated to transparency + education.

The e-commerce store hosts 70+ brands and offers everything from natural skincare to sexual wellness to meditation tools.

 

Problem

Because of Standard Dose’s excellent SEO, many of its customers were discovering the wellness marketplace right before the point of purchase for a specific brand or product. While Standard Dose would ultimately score the purchase, they were not building brand loyalty in the process.

Standard Dose turned to Instagram for brand loyalty. They needed a content strategy that:

  • Fostered a thriving wellness community

  • Featured its extensive wellness assortment, making sure to highlight as many brand partners as possible

  • Spoke to various wellness topics without feeling disorganized

  • Developed an overarching brand voice and maintained design guidelines

Solution

By utilizing Standard Dose’s blog and creating content that prioritized comments, saves, and shares, Brynn was able to position Standard Dose as a wellness resources on Instagram.

Wellness Infographics

Brynn created engaging visuals that embodied big picture takeaways from Standard Dose’s editorial articles.

Not only did this format encourage shares and saves, but also offered a call to action to read the entire article on the brand’s website.

 
 

Recipe Reels Series

Brynn found that customers are interested in plant-based supplements but are often overwhelmed by the topic and have trouble figuring out how to incorporate them into their everyday routine.

Brynn created a recipe reels series to showcase Standard Dose’s various supplements in easy, everyday recipes that feed into larger seasonal trends.

 

Interactive Product Roundups

When looking over our Instagram story analytics, Brynn found that utilizing interactive features (such as polls and quizzes) led to a larger reach and an increase in link clicks.

She reformatted product roundups to emulate an interactive quiz format.

 

Audio Meditations

Before the pandemic, Standard Dose offered in-person meditations at their space at 1145 Broadway.

In order to make meditations accessible for our community, Brynn created “bite-sized” audio meditations so that they can be done wherever and whenever.

 

Results

  • Created over 100 original assets that were used across homepage, editorial, social media (organic + paid), and given to brand partners to also share (as long as they tagged @standarddose).

  • Grew Standard Dose's Instagram community from 18k followers to 29k follower (52%
    increase) in 1 year.

  • Repurposed content across TikTok and Pinterest.
